I haven’t done a IWTF (I Want that Friday) post in a while. Not because there isn’t anything I don’t want, because trust me, I am the princess of materialism, but because I just haven’t gotten around to it. So for old times sake, this is what I want this Friday.

Simple, pretty, and gotta love the gold. I don’t generally use a mousepad since I am always found on the couch with my laptop burning my thighs but if I were to be more conventional and sit at a desk, I would want this to accompany my magic mouse. The pad is designed/made by Susan Peterson, the talented lady behind Freshly Picked (best known for those famous baby moccasins worn by the Kardashian babies) and you can buy it here. Wow, I have been doing some seriously neglecting of this site for the past two weeks. Life sometimes just gets in the way.

Regardless, here is a new IWTF. I have been on the hunt for some new outerwear to handle this brisk Vancouver weather and aside from a camel peacoat, and cape, I just found out I need one of these…

Ha. I haven’t had much luck on North American sites and fortunately found this korean based online store, Queen’s Wardrobe. I’m still hesitant to make a purchase because of the fear of shipping nightmares and poor construction/quality but I might just make the leap if nothing else comes my way. I just wish it wasn’t all polyester…

Today, I want a vacation from this dreary wet Vancouver weather. I’m feeling like the Maldives.

This year, to add to my winter outerwear, I would like to find the perfect cape. I haven’t really seen THE ONE yet, but this one is probably the closest to the style I think would work on me. Blue/black/camel, wool (even though its a blend), good length, etc… However, I am not sure how I am feeling about the toggle fastenings…but they might grow on me.

I seriously need these… well not really. I could live without them but I would rather not. My gold kick is still around and I need a fix. These Marc Jacob flat gold chains are really doing it for me and I am scouring the internet trying to find the necklace without having to break the bank. The only place I have had some luck is some UK boutique and I am not willing to shell out double the price for it knowing what the original is. HELP! I want the necklace more, but may have to just settle for the bracelet. What to do, oh what to do. Wait, I first need to get a job.
